It is usual for the toddlers to play alone because their work is connected to social, mental, and physical development. The first circumstance where children play alone is when they are engaged in playing with a specific toy. Giving children toys to play with them plays a crucial role in allowing them to learn, develop their muscles and brain, and experiment and use their imagination, which teaches them how to get along well with others. Another situation where toddlers play alone is when they play with their voices. Children are often associated with talking to themselves as they continue to learn. It up to the adults or the toddler’s parents to provide toys to their children to keep them busy, expand their exposure, and create room for the toddlers' growth and development.

Nonetheless, even though toddles are often associated with playing alone, they also interact and play with children. A perfect example is when children are taken to the same daycare; they have to interact, play, make fun and learn new things together, which will play a vital role in how they will behave once they become adults. So it is the caretakers' responsibility to nurture and bring up this kids more acceptably and responsibly. The second example where the toddlers can often interact is during the family gatherings, where every member of the extended family comes with his/her children. In this circumstance, they also play and make fun together as the parents help them in adventuring the things of the world
