A hero is anyone who possesses some physical abilities or training to handle a crisis while playing a major role. When Hull was put to see in constitution, his enemies were strong and highly trained. Someone else needed to step in because Hull’s orders did not work. He was only hoping for the best and was not ready to take chances. This is evident through the orders he gives. For instance, he says, “By God, that vessel is ours.” Heroes use brevity in everything and they do not depend on luck. After Hull’s ship was attacked, a dead silence hung over the ship. Due to fear, Hull’s solders started shooting randomly at the constitution which was only two dozen yards away. This explains why a hero was needed during this time.
