I am supposed to write an essay about the quote "Nothing has really happened until it has been recorded."

I am supposed to write about to what extent it is true about constructing history. I am supposed to write three paragraphs about whether I agree or disagree. I am also supposed to include three examples. But I am very stuck on selecting an example about an event in history that challenges this quote. I would really appreciate some help.
