Unemployment leads increased social crimes as people are idle in the society and they are in need to satisfy their endless needs. Secondly, due to lack of income, it leads to poor living standards and poverty levels giving rise to slums. Thirdly, it leads to low real income to the nation as the government doesn't collect pay as you earn tax. Fourthly, unemployment is detrimental to the nation and leads to low economic growth.
