X leads Y to believe that he can by magic double the no. of currency notes. Y gives currency notes worth Rs10000 to X who puts them in a black tin box. X then gives the box to Y with instruction to open it after an hour. After X has gone away, Y opened the box only to find it full of waste pieces. What offence, if any, has been committed by X?
