Answer to Question #23315 in Biology for Rabiya
frog respires through lungs and skin but human respires only through lungs.Do frogs have some advantage, how?
Frogs have a distinctive adaptation for living in the semiaquatic conditions. Amphibians have an ability to switch the necessary organs during breathing at the moment of environment changing. When frog is in the water, it breathes through skin, meanwhile, being on the land, frog began to use lungs and the mucous tunic of mouth for breathing. It is amazing thing that every time frog dives “active” breathing organs turn off automatically.
