Modern psychology refers to the scientific study of human mind and it's functions especially those affecting behavior in a given context. Wilhelm Wundt is regarded as the father of modern psychology. It has four primary goals which are to describe, explain, predict, and change behavior. It has three major theoretical divisions which are cognitivism, behaviorism, and depth psychology.
