Answer to Question #19555 in Statistics and Probability for Ali Irfan

Question #19555
I am performing an hypothesis test between samples (A & B). Each sample has 10 points. These points are collected using a custom application that is used to see the impact on an item using two different techniques (A & B). For example, a message size of 1KB is input using technique A and impact is recorded. Same 1KB message is input using technique B and impact is recorded. This activity is performed 10 times and 10 values are collected using technique A and 10 using technique B. Now I want to compare both techniques (A & B) using collected points. I have studied hypothesis testing and found that I need to do T-test between two sample means; that's fine. Now I am confused whether my samples be considered Independent or Dependent? Because this will further direct whether to use Paired test or Unequal Variance? Please help.
