The disability manager does not trust my report as she does believe that I forwarded her request to the relevant authority. Therefore, I would use different finance executives from the top management to advise her that each company operates on a stipulated budget. Helene should be made to understand that once a financial plan has been adopted, it is difficult to make some adjustments until the fiscal year elapses. I would also advise her that although her department is crucial, her request would only be reviewed in the next financial year when a new budget is reviewed. By doing so, I would avoid her frequent requests that take much of my time and make her know that I value her department too.
