Radio Shack infamously fired 400 of its employees by email a number of years ago. More recently, the CEO of electric-car manufacturer Tesla, Elon Musk, used his blog to announce layoffs. Why would most business communication and management experts frown upon such behaviour? Do you agree or disagree with these experts?
I disagree because the two companies wanted to prepare to build new factories and to have new range of vehicles, like in the case of Tesla. As such, laying off workers was justified.
