Project human resource management involves managing and organizing a project team. The team is usually made up of persons with different abilities and responsibilities. Team members should participate to attain good outcomes. This in return increases commitment and loyalty to project objectives and goals. The project management team, is responsible for controlling, planning and closing the project and takes directives from the rest team members. The project management team and the project sponsor join hands to secure funding, influence team members and simplify scope questions. Project human resource management processes include acquiring the project team, human resource planning, managing the team and developing the project team. Processes are used many times, mostly occurring at least once in a project or a couple of times in different phases if the project is composed of manty phases. The project management team must also be ready for risk management and sometimes, changes to project duration.

A staff management process or plan is a document that gives details of various human resource requirements that will be met for both employees and staff management alike. The process is basically a portion of the project management process that allows projects to be properly and successfully managed.
