Early Mesopotamians believed that they were created as a servants for the gods and goddes They had to keep their food and drink plentiful making the gods and goddesses quite happy with their effort and results.
The ancient Mesopotamians believed that after death they go to a land below our world, known alternately as Arallû, Ganzer or Irkallu, the latter of which meant "Great Below", that it was believed everyone went to after death, irrespective of social status or the actions performed during life.
