When packaging the soft drinks, the volume of the drink is usually measured to be 300ml. However, this changes when the bottles are exposed to different temperatures. The soft drink usually contains a solvent and carbon as a gas. Carbonated drinks are bottled under pressure and as the temperature rises, the gas becomes less soluble and thus slightly decreasing the volume of the bottled drink.
