Answer to Question #30187 in Organic Chemistry for Marc Sapeg
Hello, I am doing a lab experiment in Chemistry. The lab is to demonstrate the glow (chemiluminescence) of Luminol. The problem is, we do not know another name for Luminol. For example, salt is Sodium Chloride. If there is another name for this chemical, I would appreciate if you shared the information with us. Thanks!
”Chemical name” of Luminol is 5-Amino-2,3-dihydro-1,4-phthalazinedione (3-Aminophthalichydrazide)
