Metane nitrogenation (or nitrogenization) is a reaction of methane with
nitrogen.
CH4 + N2 = ?
At STP this reaction is impossible due to high
activation energy. But under specific condition it is possible (under UV
irradiation, see: Astrobiology Apr 2012, Vol. 12, No. 4: 315-326)
