As elevation increases, atmospheric pressure decreases because at higher altitudes air is less dense. This decrease in atmospheric pressure, in turn lowers the boiling point.

Antifreeze keeps the water in your radiator and engine from freezing in cold temperatures. Antifreeze also keeps that same water from boiling over in hot temperatures.

Pruney fingers occur when the nervous system sends a message to the blood vessels to become narrower. The narrowed blood vessels reduce the volume of the fingertips slightly, causing loose folds of skin that form wrinkles it.

As pressure is Force per unit area, that means any substance which exerts force also exerts pressure per unit area.

Also, Force is directly proportional to mass and acceleration, that means if a substance with some mass displaces, it exerts a force.

Likewise, air and water , both are composed of molecules which possess some mass, therefore they exerts some force also. This implies, they also exerts pressure on that area.
