when lots of atoms of copper are combined formed the copper elements. lots of numbers of electron present in a copper wire. but we can find the numbers of electrons in the one atom of copper. as we know atom of Cu has atomic number-29. it has 29 no of proton and 29 no of electrons.

*We can also find the no of atoms in 1 gm of copper.

As we know the moler mass of Cu is 63.546 g/mol.

Since 63.546 g of copper has 6.022 x 10 power(23) atoms (Avogadro’s number).

So in 1 g number of atoms is = 6.022 x 10(power)23/ 63.546

= 9.5 x 10(power)21 atoms of copper.

*Now we can find the total numbers of electron in 1 g copper:

= 29 x 9.5 x 10(power)21

= 275.5 x 10(power)21 Electrons
