Yes, cells are able to make new organisms in case of unicellular organisms by the following process:

In case of unicellular organism that is single cell organism such as in amoeba the cell of it undergoes binary fission that occurs after replicating its genetic material the cell undergoes mitotic division to give rise to 2 equal halves of daughter cells .  These daughter cells gives rise to new organisms.
