a.) If the absence of different passenger are independent events. What is the law of the random variable x = number of passengers missing a flight?

Let n be a number of missing passengers. Then

P(x=n) = 0.02^n, n=1..100.

b.) how do you approach this law?

Here we used the probability multiplication law.
