Such a question has no a certain answer. The spectrum is called polychromatic if it contains different wavelengths and monochromatic if only one wavelength is present. Colors can be obtained in a different way: taking the light of the corresponding wavelength (like it happens in rainbow) or mixing pure red, green or blue.
